Moses led the people through his conversation with God

The prophet Moses also had continual conversations with God when he led the Israelites from Egypt to Canaan, the land flowing with milk and honey. For it was impossible for him to lead such a great number of people to Canaan without God's help.
The Red Sea lay before them, and the Egyptian army was right behind them. At this desperate moment, Moses earnestly cried out to God, "Lord, what shall I do? I've been trying to lead Your people according to Your will. But now the Red Sea blocks our path in front of us. Please open the way before us." Then God immediately answered his prayer.
Ex 14:15-18 『Then the LORD said to Moses, "Why are you crying out to me? Tell the Israelites to move on. Raise your staff and stretch out your hand over the sea to divide the water so that the Israelites can go through the sea on dry ground. … "』
Moses did as God had told him. As he followed God's direction, the Red Sea was divided so that about 600,000 men and all the women and children could go through the sea on dry ground. God Himself did everything that He had planned. Moses needed only to hear God speaking to him through prayer and follow His instruction. After the Exodus, Moses continued his conversation with God so that he could cope with all the crisis situations in the desert.
Nu 11:1-2 『Now the people complained about their hardships in the hearing of the LORD, and when he heard them his anger was aroused. Then fire from the LORD burned among them and consumed some of the outskirts of the camp. When the people cried out to Moses, he prayed to the LORD and the fire died down.』
Nu 21:4-9 『 … they spoke against God and against Moses, and said, "Why have you brought us up out of Egypt to die in the desert? There is no bread! There is no water! And we detest this miserable food!" Then the LORD sent venomous snakes among them; they bit the people and many Israelites died. … So Moses prayed for the people. The LORD said to Moses, "Make a snake and put it up on a pole; anyone who is bitten can look at it and live." So Moses made a bronze snake and put it up on a pole. Then when anyone was bitten by a snake and looked at the bronze snake, he lived.』
Whenever calamities befell the people as the result of their sins, Moses mediated between God and the people. He prostrated himself in prayer and asked God to forgive their foolishness and rebellion and to guide him to the right path. God answered all his prayers and led him.
Moses intently focused on his conversation with God in order to lead one nation, Israel, to Canaan. Now, we are to lead all nations into the kingdom of heaven in obedience to the will of God. We should talk to God more frequently. What happens when we try to fulfill the great work of the gospel ministry without God's help? We will soon become frustrated and give up, being limited in our ability. However, if we have continual conversations with God, all doors will be opened for us.

Elijah gained courage through his conversation with God

When King Ahab reigned over the northern kingdom of Israel during the period of the Divided Kingdom, the prophet Elijah was delivering a message from God. There were 850 prophets of Baal and Asherah, who were supported by Jezebel, the Queen of Israel. Elijah fought all alone against the 850 false prophets at Mount Carmel and defeated them all with the strength provided by God. It was the power of prayer that enabled the great victory (1 Kings 18).
This made Jezebel furious. She tried to kill Elijah, and he fled from her into the wilderness. Then he said to God, "Lord, take my life; I am no better than my ancestors." "I have been very zealous for the LORD God Almighty. The Israelites have rejected your covenant, broken down your altars, and put your prophets to death with the sword. I am the only one left, and now they are trying to kill me too."
At the most desperate moment, God said to him, "I reserve seven thousand in Israel-all whose knees have not bowed down to Baal and all whose mouths have not kissed him."
God consoled Elijah and refreshed his weary soul and body. He thought he was alone, but God told him that there remained 7,000 faithful prophets. God's words gave him great joy and encouragement. Through his conversation with God, he took courage again, so he could carry out his mission as a prophet (1 Kings 19).
Thus, our forefathers of faith had continual conversations with God throughout their lives. Though the followers of God were inferior in number to the wicked and seemed far weaker than the evil ones, God encouraged the little flock, saying, "Do not fear," "Take heart," "I am with you," ….
With His powerful words, God floods our hearts with exceeding, overflowing joy. A continual conversation with God unceasingly inspires the courage and fervor of faith within ourselves.

Give yourselves to prayer at all times

As I heard of the brother's gracious enlightenment, I came to realize that our conversation with God is an important key to the growth of our faith. If one feels empty inside and the fervor of his faith diminishes, even though he is diligent in attending services and is active in gospel preaching, it shows that he does not have enough time to talk to God every day.
Now, let's take a look at ourselves. If we feel our soul becoming weary and losing its vigor, we need to ask ourselves how much time we spend in conversation with God. And we also need to examine ourselves whether we pray just mechanically.
We can not fulfill the gospel ministry with our own strength. We absolutely need help and advice from Almighty God. In spite of knowing all this, we do not often talk to God. So the Bible emphasizes that we should devote ourselves to prayer-a conversation with God.
Col 4:1-3 『… Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful. And pray for us, too, that God may open a door for our message, so that we may proclaim the mystery of Christ, …』
Ro 12:9-12 『Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. Be devoted to one another in brotherly love. Honor one another above yourselves. Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord. Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.』

God has chosen us, knowing our weakness. What if we, who are so feeble and lacking in ability, try to do the gospel work with our own wisdom and strength, without asking God for help? Can we fulfill the work of God? Never.
God richly provides everything we need if we confess our weakness and ask Him for help. Our forefathers of faith described in the Bible gained wisdom, courage and strength through their conversations with God whenever they faced difficult and desperate situations.

Prayer is the breath of the soul

Let me talk about a brother. He was eager to put his faith into action, but at some moment his faith began to cool, without knowing the reason for that. It was not because he lacked confidence in the truth or because he was troubled or persecuted. Of course, he did not neglect studying and preaching the word of God.
He didn't realize why his faith was cooling down, and it troubled him. One day, he heard the news about a fire on TV. After that, his heart began to burn again. I asked him what made him restore his faith. He said that through the fire accident he realized something of great importance. When he was watching the news, he focused on the fact that most of the victims died of suffocation from the smoke rather than from the heat. Then suddenly he was reminded of God's words, "Prayer is the breath of the soul."
‘What will happen if I do not breathe spiritually?' When he thought this way, he came to know the reason why he failed to stand firm in faith even though he diligently attended worship services and preached the gospel. Reflecting upon himself, he realized it was prayer, the breath of the soul, that he really needed. Though he believed in God, he wan't having earnest conversations with God; rather, he lived the gospel life by his own efforts and zeal. That was why his faith stagnated rather than grew.
He earnestly prayed for repentance, asking God to allow him to have a continuous conversations with Him. After that, he prayed to God for everything, no matter how small. As he talked to God in prayer every day, his heart overflowed with thankfulness even in distressing and difficult situations. His faith became much more active and stronger than ever before.

Conversation with God

Conversation with God
It is really hard for a person to have little or no conversation with the people around him. Like a felon, who is imprisoned in solitary confinement, completely isolated from others, we become spiritually disconnected from God if we do not have conversations with Him. In this situation, we can feel no joy, nor can we fully obey the will of God.
Above all, we need to have a conversation with God in order to fulfill His will. For example, to obey the words of God―"Go and make disciples of all nations," we need to repeatedly ask God, "When shall I go? Of whom shall I make disciples? How shall I preach to them?" and continually pray to God to allow us circumstances to do as He has told. Only through continual conversations with God, we can fully obey Him.
Mother told us to preach the gospel very actively, full of hope and laughter, this year. To obey the words of Mother, we should always talk to God through prayer and do what pleases God.

The word of God

When we read the book of Geneis, we come to find the word "us" when God said Himself.

Ge 1:26~27 Then God said, "Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, and over all the creatures that move along the ground." So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.

What is the reason God said Himself using plural terms as 'us' and 'our' ?

One Man’s Obedience and One Man’s Disobedience(6)

Obedience leads to the heavenly Canaan

The 144,000 saints, redeemed from the earth by the grace of God, are ‘those who follow the Lamb wherever He goes.' As it is prophesied:
Rev 14:1-5 『Then I looked, and there before me was the Lamb, standing on Mount Zion, and with him 144,000 they sang a new song before the throne and before the four living creatures and the elders. No one could learn the song except the 144,000 who had been redeemed from the earth. These are those who did not defile themselves with women, for they kept themselves pure. They follow the Lamb wherever he goes. They were purchased from among men and offered as firstfruits to God and the Lamb. No lie was found in their mouths; they are blameless.』

The 144,000 are the people who fully obey the word of God with joy and thanksgiving. As for the word of God, we should not think that it doesn't matter whether we do it or not. We must be obedient to what God says, just as Christ did even to the point of death. Unless we forsake our stubbornness, disobedience and unrepentant heart, we will be punished with everlasting destruction. As it is written:

Ro 2:4-5 『Or do you show contempt for the riches of his kindness, tolerance and patience, not realizing that God's kindness leads you toward repentance? But because of your stubbornness and your unrepentant heart, you are storing up wrath against yourself for the day of God's wrath, when his righteous judgment will be revealed.』

Now self-centered individualism is widespread in the world. People are lovers of themselves and unwilling to do what is even a little bit contrary to their ideas. They are stubborn and unrepentant. If we do things our own way, we may be tempted by Satan and even a bad thing seems good and pleasing to the ear as well as the eye. The way God leads us may seem unprofitable to us right now. However, if we continually obey the word of God, who knows our future and teaches us for our own profit, our obedience will result in abundant blessing. During Israel's 40 years in the desert, those who disobeyed could not enter Canaan, the promised land, and finally they were all destroyed in the desert.

Heb 3:18 『And to whom did God swear that they would never enter his rest if not to those who disobeyed?』

None of the disobedient people could enter the land of Canaan. Even now, those who do not obey cannot enter into God's rest―they cannot enter the kingdom of heaven. Though the world rejects God, we shall follow Elohim God in faith to the end. Every one of us shall diligently preach the teachings of the Spirit and the Bride to all people in the world. One person is important. If each and every one of us undertakes the mission of waking up the whole world from the deep spiritual sleep, we will be able to find all the lost children of God. Remember that one man's disobedience brought death upon so many, while the obedience of the One brought many to eternal life. If one person keeps the word of God to the end, all men will be brought to eternal life. Believing that, let us be fully obedient to God.We are the saints who follow Elohim [Gods] wherever They lead us. As the people of Zion, we shall always be willing to obey God's word with joy and thankfulness, depending only on God and following Him. Then we will all be saved and enter the kingdom of heaven.

One Man’s Obedience and One Man’s Disobedience(5)

World evangelism fulfilled through obedience

God does not command us to obey Him to exert absolute authority over us. Every-thing that God has taught us is given for our salvation―for the safety of our souls.

Isa 48:17-19 『This is what the LORD says―your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: "I am the LORD your God, who teaches you what is best for you, who directs you in the way you should go. If only you had paid attention to my commands, your peace would have been like a river, your righteousness like the waves of the sea. Your descendants would have been like the sand, your children like its numberless grains; their name would never be cut off nor destroyed from before me."』

In the days of the prophet Isaiah, the Israelites disobeyed God's command and their disobedience brought calamity upon themselves. Biblical history shows us every calamity is the result of disobedience to God's word, while all blessing is the result of obedience. God teaches everything for our own good and commands us the things that we ought to do and sets examples for us, so that He may bring us to the everlasting kingdom of heaven where we can live forever. For our own benefit, God has taught us to keep His commandments, preach the gospel, love one another, resist the devil, etc.

2 Co 10:6 『And we will be ready to punish every act of disobedience, once your obedience is complete.』

It is unfair for God to punish only others for their disobedience while even His children are disobeying. Obedience is a necessary qualification to enter heaven. God, who is righteous and just, is ready to fulfill the gospel work when our obedience is complete.
Now we need to examine ourselves whether we fully obey all the teachings of our heavenly Father and Mother or we only obey what we like and disobey what we don't. We must obey everything that God has commanded us, even the least thing.God told us, "Be joyful always", and "Be united in love for one another." We have to obey these words, too. If one says, "I can do all things except this kind of thing," that's a mere excuse to replace God's will with his own. He is just like Adam and Eve who ate the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil that God forbade them to eat, seeing that the forbidden fruit was good for food and pleasing to the eye and also desirable for gaining wisdom. When we forsake our own thoughts and submit joyfully to God's will, we can complete our salvation.

11/25/2008

One Man’s Obedience and One Man’s Disobedience(4)

Remove the thoughts of disobedience

The greatest faith is an obedient faith. However, if our own thoughts take precedence over God's word, we will lose our faith in God and disobey His will, as Adam and Eve did. ‘This fruit seems good for food and pleasing to the eye, and also desirable for gaining wisdom. Will I really die if I just eat the fruit?' ‘God is merciful. Will He really punish me for just doing this kind of thing?' Thus, if one puts his own thought ahead of God's word, he will fail to obey the will of God, and the disobedience of the one person will bring death not only upon himself but also upon others.

Isa 55:6-11 『 Let the wicked forsake his way and the evil man his thoughts. Let him turn to the LORD, and he will have mercy on him, and to our God, for he will freely pardon. For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways," declares the LORD. "As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts. so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.』

God's word is never spoken in vain. Our thoughts differ from God's thoughts. So the Bible tells us to forsake our thoughts and return to God. We must forsake all our thoughts that are contrary to God's word. When we put off our own thoughts and live according to God's will, we can receive abundant blessing and eternal life from God. When Adam and Eve were filled with God's word, the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil seemed flavorless and distasteful to them. However, when they heard the words of the devil and were immersed with their own thoughts, the fruit of the tree seemed good for food and pleasing to the eye and also desirable for gaining wisdom. God's thoughts differ so widely from human thoughts. Nobody knows what may happen tomorrow. However, God foresees all future events. That was why He told Adam and Eve not to eat from the tree.We should do what God has told us to do with continual and unceasing joy, and keep ourselves from what God has forbidden us, however desirable. Then the heavenly angels will bow down before us, acknowledging us as the people who are led by the Spirit of God and are in accord with God's thoughts and will and His living word. Disobedience leads to death. God gives eternal life to him who is faithful to the point of death. One person is important. If each one of us absolutely obeys the will of Father and Mother, we will all be able to enter into life. However, the disobedience of one of us may lead us all astray.

One Man’s Obedience and One Man’s Disobedience(3)

Obedience of Jesus Christ

The Bible says Adam is a pattern of the one to come (Ro 5:14). Actually, however, Adam was an opposite type of Jesus. He brought death into the world through disobedience to God's command not to eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. On the contrary, Jesus brought eternal life to all men by obeying God's will even to the point of death.

Heb 5:6-10 『 During the days of Jesus' life on earth, he offered up prayers and petitions with loud cries and tears to the one who could save him from death, and he was heard because of his reverent submission. Although he was a son, he learned obedience from what he suffered and, once made perfect, he became the source of eternal salvation for all who obey him and was designated by God to be high priest in the order of Melchizedek.』

Through His obedience, Jesus became the source of eternal salvation for all who obey Him. He came like one of us and always set the example of obedience to the will of God. When Jesus prayed in the garden of Gethsemane, just before His suffering and death, He only asked for obedience to God's will:‑ "My Father, if it is possible, may this cup be taken from me. Yet not as I will, but as you will."Thus, even in the face of death, Christ was perfectly obedient to God's will. While the one man's disobedience brought death upon all men, the obedience of the One brought them eternal life.

Php 2:5-12 『Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus. Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped, but made himself nothing, taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient to death―even death on a cross! Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Therefore, continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling,』

All the words of truth, which God gives us, are worthy of obedience to the point of death. Jesus Himself set the example of obedience when He came to this earth 2,000 years ago. Like Christ, who was obedient unto death, we should also be obedient to all the words of Elohim God and work out our salvation. If we obey God, He will raise us up to the highest place. God highly exalted Jesus and gave Him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth. Likewise, God will exalt us and give us honor and praise among all the peoples of the earth if we are completely obedient to God's will. So the Bible says we are the royal priests of heaven (1 Pe 2:9). We can never receive such honor and glory unless we fully obey God's word. So the Bible tells us to always obey God and continue to work out our salvation with fear and trembling.

One Man’s Obedience and One Man’s Disobedience(2)

Disobedience of Adam

The Bible gives a concrete example of how enormous impact one man's obedience and disobedience may have on mankind.

Ro 5:19 『For just as through the disobedience of the one man the many were made sinners, so also through the obedience of the one man the many will be made righteous.』

Romans chapter 5 contrasts the disobedience of Adam and the obedience of Jesus Christ: The former caused sin and death to enter the world, and the latter caused all men to live forever. As the result of the one man's disobedience to God's word, "Do not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil," every human being faces a tragic consequence, death.

Ge 2:16-17 『And the LORD God commanded the man, " but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat of it you will surely die."』
Ge 3:1-6 『 He said to the woman, "Did God really say, ‘You must not eat from any tree in the garden'?" The woman said to the serpent, "We may eat fruit from the trees in the garden, but God did say, ‘You must not eat fruit from the tree that is in the middle of the garden, and you must not touch it, or you will die.'" "You will not surely die," the serpent said to the woman. "For God knows that when you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil."』

The same thing may happen to us unless we always keep in mind the words that God has given us. The devil tempts people to eat the fruit God has forbidden them to eat, making the forbidden fruit seem even more desirable. He whispers to them: "Once you eat the fruit, you will be wise like God, full of knowledge. Why don't you eat it right now?" From this came the first sin of mankind. Adam and Eve were one flesh―Eve was a part of Adam. So the Bible describes their offense as the ‘sin of the one man, Adam.' Why did God mention Adam's sin in the first book of the Bible then? To show us what? We need to understand what a tremendous effect the disobedience of one person might have on human beings. Here is another case showing the effect of one man's sin. When Joshua and his army conquered the city of Jericho and entered the land of Canaan, the sin of one man named Achan caused a whole nation to be punished; Israel was defeated in the battle of Ai and the way to conquer the land of Canaan was temporarily blocked. By one man's sin the way the whole country should go was blocked, and by one man's disobedience death passed upon all men. Such history is a counterevidence showing how important one man's obedience is.

One Man’s Obedience and One Man’s Disobedience(1)

We need to reflect upon our faith and ruminate on the words of our heavenly Father and Mother over and over again, so that we can attain the everlasting kingdom of God.
In the new year, we shall accomplish complete obedience to God's words, reflecting on what we have not obeyed yet. Each and every one of us is a great worker for the gospel in this age. The disobedience of one person may cause a great hindrance to the gospel work of God, and by the obedience of one person the gospel work can be fulfilled very quickly by the grace of God.

★Elohim Gods★-The Offspring of the Woman wins in the end

The offspring of the woman wins in the end
Even God's chosen people, if they have no knowledge of God, are destroyed (Hos 4:6). Knowing this, the devil tries to hinder the truth about Mother and swallow up even the elect as the enemy of the Mother until the end of the age. John saw the revelation that the dragon, the enemy of the woman, stood on the shore of the sea to make war against the rest of her offspring. And this prophecy is now being fulfilled before our very eyes: The dragon, the ancient serpent called the devil, is mobilizing numerous people like the sand on the seashore, so-called Christians, to oppose Mother and us who follow Her (Rev 12:17). We are inferior in numbers. However, we don't need to be afraid of them at all, for God has assured our Mother's victory from the beginning. The Bible describes the final destiny of the devil and the offspring of the woman as follows: The devil will be tormented in the lake of unquenchable fire, and the offspring of the woman will receive the crown of life as an ‘overcomer' and enjoy the heavenly inheritance for ever and ever. It was Elohim who created man, saying, "Let us make man in our image," punished men for their evil work of building the Tower of Babel, saying, "Let us go down …," and called Isaiah to be a prophet, saying, "Who will go for us?" Thus, the Elohim Gods, both male and female, worked together. They have appeared as the Spirit and the Bride in due time―in the last days―according to the promise, in order to give us life. We now live under the rule of the Elohim Gods and give Them glory, rejoicing and being glad. Now, let's open our spiritual eyes wide. Our Mother, the heavenly Jerusalem, has come to this earth to give us eternal life. As Her children, we should rejoice with Her and mourn over Her (Isa 66:10-14). As the children of the heavenly Parents, who rule and lead us, we shall follow the Spirit and the Bride wherever They go.

★Elohim Gods★-The New Covenant reveals God the Mother

The new covenant reveals God the Mother
Through the new covenant we can reach full knowledge of God. The Bible says that the law has become our tutor to lead us to Christ (Gal 3:24). So, let us come near to Elohim [Gods] through the new covenant.

Jer 31:21-22 『…The LORD will create a new thing on earth―a woman will surround a man.』

Jer 31:31-34 『"The time is coming," declares the LORD, "when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah. …" "This is the covenant I will make with the house of Israel after that time," declares the LORD. I will put my law in their minds and write it on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be my people. No longer will a man teach his neighbor, or a man his brother, saying, ‘Know the LORD,' because they will all know me, from the least of them to the greatest," declares the LORD. "For I will forgive their wickedness and will remember their sins no more."』

Jeremiah 31:22 states that a new thing is a woman's surrounding a man. And in the verse 31, the new thing is described as the making of a new covenant. When physically interpreted, a woman's surrounding man is not a new thing at all. But considering spiritually, we can see that it has a very profound meaning. The woman [Eve] was a part of the man [Adam], for she was formed from his rib. If God had not taken a rib from the man and made the woman of it, how would the woman, residing within the man, surround him? So the new thing God prophesied means an unprecedented thing―the appearing of Mother who has resided within God the Father. The new thing is to be created in the world by God's making the new covenant. God said that through the new covenant He would write His law on our hearts. He added, "I will be their God, and they will be my people. No longer will a man teach …, saying, ‘Know the LORD,' because they will all know me, from the least of them to the greatest." "I will be their God …." Here God is called "Elohim" in the original Hebrew text. When we realize Elohim [Gods] through the new covenant, we will all know God, from the least of us to the greatest, just as God said. In the book of Galatians we see that Sarah represents the new covenant and our Mother.

Gal 4:21-26 『These things may be taken figuratively, for the women represent two covenant. … Now Hagar stands for Mount Sinai in Arabia and corresponds to the present city of Jerusalem, because she is in slavery with her children. But the Jerusalem that is above is free, and she is our Mother.』

Thus, Sarah represents the new covenant and our Mother, the Jerusalem above. Through the new covenant we've found the existence of our Mother. Hosea says, "Let us know, let us press on to know the LORD." We have fulfilled this word by knowing Elohim―God the Father and God the Mother―through the new covenant, so that we can all know God, from the least of us to the greatest.

☆Elohim God☆ - The serpent is the enemy of the woman

The serpent [the devil] is the enemy of the woman [Mother]
The Bible tells us that there is an enemy who tries to hinder us from acknowledging this truth of Elohim―God the Father and God the Mother, so that we cannot receive the blessing of eternal life. The enemy is the devil who tries to lead us into the way of death by preventing us from knowing God who gives us the water of life.

Ge 3:14-15 『So the LORD God said to the serpent, "Because you have done this, Cursed are you above all the livestock and all the wild animals! You will crawl on your belly and you will eat dust all the days of your life. And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and hers; he will crush your head, and you will strike his heel."』

This prophecy was partially fulfilled through Jesus at His first coming. The devil is our enemy because he has become the enemy of Elohim―especially God our Mother. The serpent [the devil] is a perpetual enemy of the woman. The woman, our Mother, leads us into life, but the serpent [the devil] tries to lead us into death. From the beginning there was enmity between them, and to the very end of the age the enmity will continue. He constantly hinders the truth about Mother through various tricks. To prevent us from knowing Mother who gives us life, he denies the Biblical records of Elohim working together by every tricky word and scheme. Thus, he tries his utmost to swallow our souls and lead us into death. The more the devil hinders us, the more we should be alert and self-controlled, so that we may resist the devil with the correct knowledge of God.

☆The Elohim Gods☆ - God is to appear as the Spirit and the Bride in due time

God is to appear as the Spirit and the Bride in due time

Now, let's find out when Elohim, existing in spirit, appears in the flesh. The Elohim Gods worked together in the beginning of Creation, and will be together to complete the Creation.

1 Ti 6:15-16 『which God will bring about in his own time―God, the blessed and only Ruler, the King of kings and Lord of lords, who alone is immortal and who lives in unapproachable light, whom no one has seen or can see. To him be honor and might forever. Amen.』

The Bible says that God will show us His appearing in due time. If He reveals Himself visible to our eyes, it means He will come in the flesh. In the likeness of men, in the likeness of male and female, God is prophesied to come to this earth, being made a little lower than the angels. However He is the very God who has been working out a 6,000 year plan of salvation since Adam. There is the Savior's name for each age, but the name of God as female does not appear. For God the Father stands as a representative, just as only a father's name appears on a doorplate in the home though there is a mother. In the book of Romans it is described that through one man, Adam, sin entered the world. Actually, it was Eve who sinned first, but only Adam's name was representatively mentioned. It is the same with the Savior's name for each age; only the name of God the Father has been representatively used.Only God can give us life, for He alone has immortality. Let's see how God the only eternal Being will appear in due time.

Rev 22:17 『The Spirit and the bride say, "Come!" And let him who hears say, "Come!" Whoever is thirsty, let him come; and whoever wishes, let him take the free gift of the water of life.』

Here we can see that God has appeared as the Spirit and the Bride in due time to give us the water of life.
Rev 19:6-8 『Then I heard what sounded like a great multitude, like the roar of rushing waters and like loud peals of thunder, shouting: "Hallelujah! For our Lord God Almighty reigns. Let us rejoice and be glad and give him glory! For the wedding of the Lamb has come, and his bride has made herself ready. Fine linen, bright and clean, was given her to wear." (Fine linen stands for the righteous acts of the saints.)』

Rev 21:9-10 『One of the seven angels who had the seven bowls full of the seven last plagues came and said to me, "Come, I will show you the bride, the wife of the Lamb." And he carried me away in the Spirit to a mountain great and high, and showed me the Holy City, Jeru-salem, coming down out of heaven from God.』

The Lamb and His Wife are God the Father and God the Mother, who have appeared in due time. Our Father and Mother have appeared to give Their children life in the last days. The book titled "The Mystery of God and the Spring of the Water of Life" (Chapter 24) describes that the Spirit and the Bride will appear and lead the Gentiles to be saved. God prophesied that He would show His appearing, and the prophecy has been fulfilled. God alone is the one who gives us life, and the Spirit and the Bride now give us the water of life. They are the very God who has appeared to us.

★Elohim Gods★

The history of mankind controled by Gods [Elohim]
Let's see the Gods work together, saying, "Let us …."

Ge 11:1-9 『Now the whole world had one language and a common speech. As men moved eastward, they found a plain in Shinar and settled there. … Then they said, "Come, let us build ourselves a city, with a tower that reaches to the heavens, so that we may make a name for ourselves and not be scattered over the face of the whole earth." But the LORD came down to see the city and the tower that the men were building. The LORD said, "… Come, let us go down and confuse their language so they will not understand each other." So the LORD scattered them from there over all the earth, and they stopped building the city. That is why it was called Babel―because there the LORD confused the language of the whole world. From there the LORD scattered them over the face of the whole earth.』

In Genesis 1 God made male and female, saying, "Let us make man …." In Genesis 11, we see the Gods working together, saying, "Let us …"; we find the male and female Gods breaking the pride of men and stopping them from doing their evil work.

Isa 6:7-10 『… Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, "Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?" And I said, "Here am I. Send me!" …』

In the book of Isaiah God said, "Who will go for us?" not saying, "Who will go for me?" Here we can also understand that both God the Father and God the Mother work together and lead the gospel work for our salvation. In many Biblical verses we see God working together, saying, "Let us …." In the Hebrew text, the word for God in the singular sense is El or Eloha and its plural form Elohim means Gods.Elohim [Gods] created all things, including mankind, saying, "Let us make man in our image, in our likeness." From the beginning God the Father and Mother have been working together; They worked together to break the pride of men by stopping them from building the Tower of Babel, saying, "Let us go down …," and They also worked together on calling the prophet Isaiah, saying, "Who will go for us?" Thus, Elohim, God the Father and God the Mother, worked together.

☆Elohim Gods☆

Giving life is the role of Mother
Let's add to the knowledge of God through His providence of creating man in His own image.

Ge 2:4-24 『… the LORD God formed the man from the dust of the ground and breathed his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being. … But for Adam no suitable helper was found. So the LORD caused the man to fall into a deep sleep; and while he was sleeping, he took one of the man's ribs and closed up the place with flesh. The the LORD God made a woman from the rib he had taken out of the man, and he brought her to the man. The man said, "This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called ‘woman,' for she was taken out of man." For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and they will become one flesh.』

Ge 3:20 『Adam named his wife Eve (which means life), because she would become the mother of all the living.』
Through this providence described in Genesis, we can understand that Adam is a type of Christ, Eve represents His wife and all mankind living on earth represent Their children: Abel symbolizes those who will be saved and Cain those who will not be saved.

☆Elohim Gods☆

God of male image and God of female image

In the process of knowing God, let us find out that God has both genders.

Ge 1:26-27 『Then God said, "Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, and over all the creatures that move along the ground." So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.』

We call our Creator "God Most High," and we think He is one. However, in Genesis we can see that the plural Gods made all creatures, including man, saying, "Let us make man …." If an artist draws a male model, a portrait of a man will be painted; and if he draws a female model, a portrait of a woman will be painted. God our Creator made man in His own image, and male and female were created. This indicates that there are both male and female images in God.Until now most Bible scholars have characterized God only as male, calling Him ‘Father.' They've not spoken of God as female. The Bible characterized God as both male and female, but it was contrary to their custom and doctrine. So they have regarded it as a heresy to believe that there is Mother God as well as Father God and intentionally ignored it.However, surely there is a time for the truth to be revealed. Remem-ber that God mentioned it as a condition for receiving the Holy Spirit to press on to know Him. Everyone in the world does know the God who divided the Red Sea. Even non-Christians know the God who created Adam and Eve, the God who made all things in six days. What should we press on to know about God then? It is that there exists a female God as the Mother as well as a male God as the Father. When we understand this correctly, we can have full understanding of all the principles of life and wisdom described in the 66 books of the Bible.Adam and Even were created in God's image. At first God made Adam and then He decided to create a helper for him. He caused Adam to fall into a deep sleep and made Eve from one of his ribs (Genesis 2). Why did Adam need his helper, Eve? Man cannot give birth to children and breastfeed them. God entrusted such things to woman when He created human beings. When God created Adam and Eve, each of them had a duty. Adam was a pattern of the one to come (Ro 5:14). Thus his wife, Eve, represents the wife of the Lamb, the Christ to come a second time. Such a great truth is hidden in Genesis. We need to understand what the ministry of the male God is and what the ministry of the female God is. This is the start point for our knowledge of God.

The Elohim Gods

It is the duty of children to obey their parents. Likewise, the fundamental duty of man is to know God and obey His commands. All people ought to recognize God who's come into the world as the true light. However, it is not easy for them to recognize Him because the devil, called the "god of this world," has blinded their minds, so that they cannot see the light of the glory of Christ (2 Co 4:4).

Hos 6:1-3, NASB 『…So let us know, let us press on to know the LORD. His going forth is as certain as the dawn; And He will come to us like the rain, Like the spring rain watering the earth.』

Here God tells us that the knowledge of God is the condition of receiving the Holy Spirit of the latter rain. We should have correct knowledge of God, so that we may be fully armed with the Holy Spirit to fulfill the prophecy that the least of us will become a thousand, the smallest a mighty nation. So the Bible advises us to press on to know God and build our faith firmly on the rock.

Salvation is given to those who celebrate the Feasts

The Bible likens the kingdom of heaven to a very precious treasure hidden in a field (Mt 13:44-46). Jesus said that when a man found it, he hid it again, and then in his joy went and sold all he had and bought that field. Through His words, we can understand how great and precious our salvation is.As the people of Zion, we are to treat all God's feasts of the new covenant like treasure and celebrate them. Now, let's confirm through the Bible that only those who celebrate the feasts of God are given the heavenly glory with which they can freely visit the galaxies in the infinite universe, the everlasting kingdom.

If they had been thinking of the country they had left...

Heb. 11: 15-16

If they had been thinking of the country they had left, they would have had opportunity to return. Instead, they were longing for a better country-a heavenly one....

If anyone does not think of the country he left, he has no opportunity to return. Certainly there is a place where human soul comes from and where it goes.

Where Does the Human Soul Come From?

Gen. 2:7 [The LORD formed the man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a livingbeing(soul, KJV).]
Q1 : Where did our soul come from?
Q2 : Why does our soul put on flesh and live in this sinful world?
Q3 : Where does our soul go after we die?
Do you know the answers of upper questions? Let us know..

Heavenly Family of Christ Ahnsahnghong

One verse that always amazes me is Romans 1:19

Romans 1:19 since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them. For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse Everything God made on this earth is to show us about God's nature. Even more so, in everything we see, we can see God's will and purpose.

Revelations 4:11 "You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they were created and have their being."

One thing that most creatures have in common is the Family System, all animals, plants birds, and fish have the same family system which consists of father, mother and children.

Earthly Family
Father + Mother = Children
Heavenly Family
Father God + Mother God = Children of God

Then if you truly believe in God and the Bible, you cannot deny that God made the earthly family system to reflect the Heavenly Family. In every family, the mother gives life to the children. In the same way our Heavenly Mother gives the children of God eternal life. Thanks to our Heavenly Father Christ Ahnsahnghong and Heavenly Mother for teaching us all the truth and giving us eternal life.

Prayer

Prayer is an indispensible part of Christian faith. Without earnest prayer, we can achieve nothing. Though invisible, prayer has a miraculous power to make the impossible possible.
Pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus. (1Th 5:17~18)

Blessing on the Sabbath day

Christ Ahnsahnghong brought us the Sabbath Day. Even though many Christians are going to church today (Sunday), the Bible tells us that it is the 7th day, Saturday that God blesses, and that God has made holy. NO OTHER DAY in the Bible did God give that promise. After Sabbath day, my spirit always feels better. When I think about Jesus Christ he healed on the Sabbath day...
Luke 13:15
10. On a Sabbath Jesus was teaching in one of the synagogues, 11.and a woman was there who had been crippled by a spirit for eighteen years. She was bent over and could not straighten up at all. 12. When Jesus saw her, he called her forward and said to her, "Woman, you are set free from your infirmity." 13. Then he put his hands on her, and immediately she straightened up and praised God. The religious leaders scrutinized Christ for healing on the Sabbath day, but this was His reply:
15. The Lord answered him, "You hypocrites! Doesn't each of you on the Sabbath day untie his ox or donkey from the stall and lead it out to give it water? 16. Then should not this woman, a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan has kep bound for eighteen years, be set free on THE SABBATH DAY from what bound her?"
17. When he said this, all his opponents were humiliated, but the people were delighted with all the wonderful thins he was doing.

I feel so blessed because God created the Sabbath day for me to be healed. Christ healed the blind, lame, mute, and deaf all on the Sabbath day. http://heaven144.blogspot.com/

A man Jesus Christ (Church of God world mission society)

Worthy life and the way of faith

Life is too short. We can't even live to be a hundred.

Ps 90:10 『The length of our days is seventy years―or eighty, if we have the strength; yet their span is but trouble and sorrow, for they quickly pass, and we fly away.』

Then, how should we live such a short life? We should live right before God. Though we are hindered and troubled by our enemy the devil, though the truth is maligned, we should follow the truth. We must keep the faith to the end, as did our forefathers of faith and the apostles such as Paul, Peter and John. Like them, we too shall live happily forever, together with God and thousands upon thousands of angels in the glorious kingdom.

In the days of the Early Church, when the apostles were filled with the Holy Spirit and wrote the Bible, they put the word ‘the man' before ‘Jesus' and said, "Every spirit that does not acknowledge that Christ has come in the flesh is the spirit of the antichrist." This shows how much people mocked and hindered them, saying that Jesus is merely a man. Considering how the apostles were in those days, let's trust in the name of God the Holy Spirit―the Savior of this age―and proclaim the name to the whole world, as the heavenly children who will enter the everlasting kingdom.

The man Jesus Chirst(Church of God world mission society)

The gospel prospered even in tribulation and persecution

In the days of Nehemiah, Sanballat and Tobiah took the lead in hindering the Israelites from building the temple. They scorned and ridiculed them, saying, "If even a fox climbed up on it, he would break down their wall of stones!" Thus, they brought so many troubles on Israel. Despite such hindrances, all the officials and leaders of the Jews continued building the temple, being one in mind; half of them did the work and half stood guard, holding spears and shields (Ne 4:1-23). At last they finished building the temple. When all their enemies heard this, they were afraid and lost heart, because they realized that the work had been done with God's help (Ne 6:15-16). Even in persecution and affliction, the apostles were burning all the more with a sure faith in Christ. Where are they now? They are comforted by God in the eternal kingdom of heaven. Where is the Apostle Paul who proclaimed that Jesus is God? He is at rest forever in the glorious kingdom which no one has ever seen or heard or thought. How about the high priests and religious leaders who brought a false charge of ‘a ringleader of the Nazarene sect' against Paul and afflicted him? Where are they now?

Promise of victory through great fight

If many religions had hope for heaven, they would not be conformed to this world but pursue the truth of the Bible. But they do not follow it, just like the religious leaders in the time of the Early Church. The 144,000, spiritually represented as materials for the temple, repent and receive the Christ, seeing the light of the Spirit and the Bride and hearing Their voices. All unreasonable things that happened in the Early Church are occurring in this age, too, according to the prophecies. However, even under such circumstances, we are not disheartened; for God gives courage and comfort to us, who will enter the kingdom of heaven. The Bible says:

Rev 12:17 『Then the dragon was enraged at the woman and went off to make war against the rest of her offspring―those who obey God's commandments and hold to the testimony of Jesus. And the dragon stood on the shore of the sea [the sand of the sea, KJV].』

The sand of the sea represents human society, which the dragon dominates; he is standing on it to fight against the rest of her offspring. The spiritual fight is to be made. However, the Bible says that mighty is God who wins a victory over the dragon. The Apostle John saw how the spiritual war would start and how it would come to an end. Eventually, the devil will be thrown into the lake of burning sulfur.(continuation)

A new religion preching Jesus(Church of God World mission society)

A new religion preaching Jesus

The Bible says that Christ will appear a second time to those who are waiting for Him (Heb 9:28). All the 66 books of the Bible testify to Christ's second coming. However the religious leaders, who have already obtained ecclesiastical authority, would not receive Christ. So concerning those people, Jesus said, ‘You shut the kingdom of heaven in men's faces. You yourselves do not enter, nor will you let those enter who are trying to. You make them twice as much a son of hell as you are.' There arose lots of arguments between gospel preachers and existing religious leaders.

Ac 5:26-28 『At that, the captain went with his officers and brought the apostles. They did not use force, because they feared that the people would stone them. Having brought the apostles, they made them appear before the Sanhedrin to be questioned by the high priest. "We gave you strict orders not to teach in this name," he said. "Yet you have filled Jerusalem with your teaching and are determined to make us guilty of this man's blood."』

The apostles proclaimed, "Jesus is God," and the gospel was regarded as a new religion which the Jews had never heard before. This caused a great argument among them. To the people who detested the corruption of the religious leaders in those days, the gospel of Christ was a refreshing rain and the water of life appeasing their thirst. The number of believers grew to about three thousand or five thousand a day.

Ac 4:2-21 『They were greatly disturbed because the apostles were teaching the people and proclaiming in Jesus the resurrection of the dead. They seized Peter and John, and because it was evening, they put them in jail until the next day. But many who heard the message believed, and the number of men grew to about five thousand. … "What are we going to do with these men?" they asked. "Everybody living in Jerusalem knows they have done an outstanding miracle, and we cannot deny it. But to stop this thing from spreading any further among the people, we must warn these men to speak no longer to anyone in this name." Then they called them in again and commanded them not to speak or teach at all in the name of Jesus. But Peter and John replied, "Judge for yourselves whether it is right in God's sight to obey you rather than God. For we cannot help speaking about what we have seen and heard." After further threats they let them go. They could not decide how to punish them, …』
In a day, about five thousand men repented and received Jesus as the Savior. When the religious leaders saw such a great thing happen, they were greatly astonished. They were afraid of losing their authority over religion; it was of secondary importance to them whether they had a sincere faith in God or not. They made all efforts to stop the apostles; they arrested and threatened and warned them, having them flogged and putting them in the public jail. Despite all that, the number of believers increased all the more. The apostles had longed for the truth and waited for the kingdom of God; they were not dispirited at all, even though many falsely incriminated them, spreading vicious rumors. The gospel spread to Samaria and to the ends of the earth. The world couldn't stop the work of God. (contiuation)

Jesus Christ was called a "Nazarene" - Sermon (Church of God World mission society)

Jesus Christ was called a "Nazarene"

Ac 24:1-16 『Five days later the high priest Ananias went down to Cae-sarea with some of the elders and a lawyer named Tertullus, and they brought their charges against Paul before the governor. … "We have found this man to be a troublemaker, stirring up riots among the Jews all over the world. He is a ringleader of the Nazarene sect and even tried to desecrate the temple; so we seized him. By examining him yourself you will be able to learn the truth about all these charges we are bringing against him." … When the governor motioned for him to speak, Paul replied: … "My accusers did not find me arguing with anyone at the temple, or stirring up a crowd in the synagogues or anywhere else in the city. And they cannot prove to you the charges they are now making against me. However, I admit that I worship the God of our fathers as a follower of the Way, which they call a sect. I believe everything that agrees with the Law and that is written in the Prophets, and I have the same hope in God as these men, that there will be a resurrection of both the righteous and the wicked. So I strive always to keep my conscience clear before God and man."』

There was no charge against Paul, but they accused him just because he taught different doctrines from theirs; Paul was accused of believing in God, not of committing a crime. In those days, the gospel of Jesus Christ already spread all over Jeru-salem and other regions. However, at that time people didn't recognize Jesus to be in very nature God, and they charged Him unjustly with her-esy―‘the Nazarene sect.' The religious leaders also brought the Apostle Paul into governor's court by reason that he believed Jesus as God. It was natural for the two groups to be opposed to each other; for one group taught that Jesus is the very God, and the other objected to it, saying, "How can you say that Jesus, a mere man, is God?" Spiritually, the antagonism between the two can be explained as the enmity between God and Satan. When Paul was taken to court, he asked them what crime they found in him. Actually, they found no basis for a charge against him. For he just preached that Jesus Christ is God and He rose from the dead and so whoever believes in Him would not taste death but be resurrected. Disputing with them, he said that he followed the way which they called a sect (heresy, KJV). The way was not really heresy, was it? Let's see what Jesus said about those who called Him the Nazarene.

Mt 23:13-15 『"Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You shut the kingdom of heaven in men's faces. You yourselves do not enter, nor will you let those enter who are trying to. Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You travel over land and sea to win a single convert, and when he becomes one, you make him twice as much a son of hell as you are."』

Jesus said to the religious leaders esteemed in those days, "Woe [Curse] to you." He said that they shut the kingdom of heaven in men's faces, for they hindered people from entering the kingdom by any means, saying, ‘How can Jesus, a mere man, be God? He was unlearned.' With such evil speakings, they constantly tried to hinder people from having faith in Christ. They kept the people from recognizing God who came into this earth and made them take the lead in opposing God and do more evil than before. So the Bible says that they make each of them twice as much a son of hell as they are. They can never enter the kingdom of heaven. Ananias, Tertullus, false elders and all the Jews who stood by them … Where are they now? They are tormented in hell; the smoke of their torment goes up forever and ever.(continuation)

Church of God(Ahnsahnghong's witness) - Sermon - The man Jesus Christ

People didn't realize Jesus' divine nature in the Apostolic Age

All the religious leaders such as the Pharisees and the teachers of the law, who had ecclesiastical authority in those days, turned their faces from Jesus and rejected Him. However, the apostles believed and received Him, saying, "By him all things were created," "He is the image of the invisible God," "He is in very nature God," or "He is God over all, forever praised!"Those days' situation was totally different from today's; it was much harder to have faith in Jesus at that time. About 2,000 years ago, Jesus, like a tender shoot, had no beauty to attract people to Him, nothing in His appearance that they should desire Him; when He preached the gospel, it appeared to be a pseudo-religion in the eyes of religious leaders.Until that time, animals had been used in all ceremonies for sacrificing to God; people offered sacrifices to God with the blood of animals in worship. So when Jesus said, ‘There is no need of the blood of animals any more since I've come,' there was a great difference between Jesus' teaching and their ceremonies of sacrifice. That was why they regarded Jesus as a heretic. Since they didn't recognize that Jesus is the Christ, they blasphemed God and obstructed His work of salvation in this earth; they even cursed God, falsely saying all kinds of evil against Him.

Jn 10:30-33 『"I and the Father are one." Again the Jews picked up stones to stone him, but Jesus said to them, "I have shown you many great miracles from the Father. For which of these do you stone me?" "We are not stoning you for any of these," replied the Jews, "but for blasphemy, because you, a mere man, claim to be God."』

Those days' religious leaders opposed Christ, saying that He was a mere man but made Himself God. The apostles, however, recognized Christ: The Apostle Paul testified that He is in very nature God, and the Apostle John testified that He is God the Word who already existed in the beginning. Their thoughts were quite different from those of the religious leaders who already acquired ecclesiastical authority; they thought that God was to come in the radiance of His glory, not in the same manner as men's. Contrary to their expectation, however, God came as a human being; and He preached, saying, "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is near," and warned against their wicked deeds. At this they became indignant, and rejected Him. They regarded Jesus only as a man, while the apostles recognized Him as the very God.It is the same now. Through the history of the Early Church, we can see it is prophetically described that Christ coming in the flesh is to arouse people's resistances in this age, too. Let's see how Jesus was unjustly accused, when He came into this earth in the flesh and preached the gospel and told people to believe in His name 2,000 years ago.
